I was going through listening to the music of 60' French pop and folk ladies and one of them had "Willow MacGregor" in her top 8 (remember the ole top 8?), so I tried her out, not knowing she wasn't a real person, and loved the song "Willow's Song". Upon googling her to get some of her music (ha!), I found the movie. A few years after this, Isobel Campbell of Belle and Sebastian did a beautiful cover of this song, and I was so happy to discover it when I got her album! I figured then that this movie must be more of a thing than I had previously known. I've still yet to see it, but I feel I must, if for no other reason that to see Willow sing her song!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2987975473741642533.post-39856963630100717792011-11-01T00:39:06.955-07:002011-11-01T00:39:06.955-07:00I think this name packs a real punch - would be co...I think this name packs a real punch - would be cool for a kid who was conceived at the Wickerman Festival!

It's got a fantastic meaning - it also comes from the word for "willow", so it's like another version of that name too.
